Kannada actor and television reality show judge, Vijay Raghavendra, will be celebrating his sixteenth wedding anniversary with his late wife, Spandana, today. If things were all good, the couple reportedly had plans to celebrate their special day with a vacation plan.
However, with destiny having shown its cruel side, the actor lost his beloved wife earlier this month on August 7.Spandana suffered a cardiac arrest and breathed her last weeks before their sixteenth wedding anniversary.
To mark their wedding day, Vijay Raghavendra took to his Instagram handle to share his deepest emotions etched with his beloved wife.

Raaghu, as Vijay Raghavendra is fondly known as, Shared an emotional video that expresses his love for his wife, Spandana. In his own voice, Raaghu has mentioned what Spandana meant to him in his life. He has described how his wife had become an integral part of his life in the video.

Spandana's untimely death
To the uninitiated, Sandalwood actor and television reality show judge Vijay Raghavendra's wife, Spandana, died due to a heart attack on Monday (August 7). She reportedly suffered a massive heart attack while she was on vacation in Bangkok. Her mortal remains were brought to Bengaluru from Thailand on Tuesday (August 8) night and the funeral was held on Wednesday (August 9) in Bengaluru. Spandana's husband, Vijay Raghavendra, and teenage son Shourya were seen in tears during the final rites.

The sudden demise of Spandana left everyone shell-shocked with many celebrities grieving her loss. Following the news, many Kannada small-screen actors paid their final respects to Spandana for one last time. Renowned celebrities extended their heartfelt condolences to her grieving family members.
