Veteran Kannada actor Sarigama Viji has passed away at the age of 77. He had been undergoing treatment for multiple organ failure at Manipal Hospital in Yeshwantpur for the last four days. His health became critical on January 12, leading to his hospitalization and intensive care treatment.
Despite the doctors' best efforts, Sarigama Viji could not recover and passed away today. His mortal remains will be taken to his residence in Mahalakshmipuram at 1 PM today for people to pay their final respects.
Fans and well-wishers can visit his residence from 1 PM today until 10 AM tomorrow (January 16) to bid him farewell. The last rites will take place at Chamarajpet Crematorium at 10 AM tomorrow.
