Madhava and Rukmini are a lovable couple, the only regret they have in their life is that they don’t have a baby. On the suggestion of doctor Jhansi, they adopt a baby through surrogacy. Radha, who is another lead actor of the show, agrees to surrogacy to save her mother and Preetham’s life. After waiting for years, Rukmini is excited to have her own baby, whereas Radha, who knows the reality, is attached to her baby. Amidst all this, there is a powerful villain Maheshwari who plots against Rukmini.


Another feather in the show's cap is the star cast. - Jyothi rai, Narayanswamy, Nayana Shetty, Mahalakshmi, Krishna Nadig, Raghu Birur, Devaiah and many such actors are a part of this show, who are known for their acting prowess.


Among the many attractive features of JO JO Laali, its visual beauty is the most prominent one, and the man behind this is Thrishool, who directs the show.

Commenting on completing 250 episodes, Narayanswamy said, "In the 19 years of my acting career, this role is close to my heart. Acting every scene, I feel happy and curious about what will happen next. If the serial has won the hearts of audiences then our hard work is fruitful" He plays the role of Madhava in the show.

On the other hand, Nayana Shetty who portrays the character of Radha in the show said, ‘’I started my acting career with a comedy serial so when I was offered the role of Radha, initially I was nervous and doubtful whether I can do justice to it. This character has two vibrations, on one hand, she is all happy with her guy and dreams of a positive life and on the other hand, she agrees to surrogacy to save the two lives and gets emotionally lost in the process. Acting in such emotional sequences, I myself feel emotionally drawn and have also shed tears acting in a few crying scenes.’’

Now that the show's track focuses on Rukmini leading a happy life with her baby, will Radha get to know the truth that she has become a surrogate mother to Rukmini? Will Radha and Preetham marry? Will Radha become a second wife to Madhava? All this forms the basis of the rest of the plot.
