The plot revolves around an overweight girl Geetha, who is popular as ‘dummi’ (fatty), for her physical appearance. While many exploit her to get their work done, innocent Geetha doesn't get offended as she is kind and forgiving. She wants to get married to her prince charming in a gala wedding ceremony.
Though the serial is a remake of Hindi serial 'Badho Bahu', it has managed to impress the Kannada audience.
