After doing the tests, the actress and her father and sister tested positive. "It is depressing to see your ageing parents getting tired while talking or even walking. The exhaustion that comes with Covid affects one mentally and emotionally. These five days have been the worst for us," she says, urging people to be extra cautious if they have senior citizens or ageing parents at home. "The mental and physical exhaustion that one would go through is tough to bear, hence those with parents and children and grandparents at home, need to stay away from crowds and practice social distancing."

Speaking about her current work obligations, the actress informs that the Manasella Neene team has paused shoot and the entire crew has been tested for COVID-19. "Since, I was the primary contact, the shooting has been stalled and the producer ensured each artiste and crew member was tested as many travel from nearby villages to the set," adds Rashmi.

Meanwhile, the actress has also taken to practising certain pranayama exercises. "I have also taught my father certain pranayama breathing exercises for better oxygen saturation level and we regularly perform these exercises," says Rashmi, adding, "Staying positive constantly in our current health condition is certainly tough and exhausting. Luckily, we have people who are helping us out with our daily groceries and food requirements."
