Tuesday Trivia: Did you know BB Kannada 9 contestant Prashanth Sambargi played a cameo in Deepika Padukone's debut film?

Senior contestant of Bigg Boss Kannada season 9 Prashanth Sambargi has been making a buzz for his stint inside the glasshouse. However, not many know that he is also a bundle of talent. Besides being a social activist and a successful entrepreneur, Prashanth has also tried his luck at acting.
Prashanth acted in the Kannada blockbuster movie 'Aishwarya'.In the movie, he had the privilege to share the screen space with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and the 'Real Star' of Kannada film industry Upendra. Prashanth Sambargi played a cameo as a manager in the movie. Earlier, he had even mentioned the same in one of the weekend episodes of Bigg Boss Kannada season 8. It all started when Manju Pavagad called Prashanth Sambargi a 'Natural Star'.
In sync with it, host Kiccha Sudeep questioned Prashanth if he had acted in any movie. Responding to Sudeep, Prashanth revealed that he had played a small role in the movie 'Aishwarya'. He also mentioned that it was an instant decision taken by the makers of the film as the artist, who was supposed to portray that particular role, failed to show up on the day of the shoot. Since the makers were close to Prashanth Sambargi, they asked him to shoot for the role.
Interestingly, Kannada movie Aishwarya also marks the acting debut of actress Deepika Padukone who later went on to shine in Bollywood.
