Sukrutha Nag is one of the popular faces of Kannada television. The actress shot to fame with her on-screen character 'Anjali' of Agnisakshi fame and won the hearts of millions with her charismatic acting skills.

The child artist
However, not many know that the actress started her acting career as a child artist. Yes, Sukrutha is not new to the Kannada audience. The actress started her career as a child artist and appeared in many Kannada daily soaps back then.

However, when Sukrutha featured in Chandu Gowda's show 'Chat Corner' along with her Agnisakshi co-star Rajesh Dhruva, the actress revealed that she faced the camera first as a child artist with the mega-serial Kadambari. Sukrutha also revealed that she has earlier been a part of twenty-five shows in her career so far.


That 'break' in career
Although it has been nearly more than a decade since Sukratha has been in the entertainment industry, she got the biggest break in her career with the show 'Agnisakshi'. She played the role of the loving sister to three elder brothers in the show. Her on-screen character 'Anjali' earned her much praise and gained her enormous fame. Sukrutha lived and loved her on-screen character Anjali for good six years.

Sukratha has also been a part of the dance reality show 'Dancing star' as a celebrity contestant. She was fondly known as the 'Dental queen' by host Akul Balaji when Dancing Stars was on the run.

Sukrutha as Shwetha
Currently, Sukrutha is seen playing the role of a vamp in the popular daily soap 'Lakshana'. She essays the character Shwetha in the show. Sukrutha, as Shwetha, is making viewers hate her on-screen character. Shwetha is very particular about her fair skin complexion and does not like the sight of any dusky person.
