The team of Naagini 2 meets fans in Davangere

recently met fans in Davangere and served them delicious food. Protagonists Shivani (Namaratha Gowda) and Thrishool (Ninaad Harithsa) who got married in the serial were the main attractions of the event.

The team invited people to take part in competitions by giving a missed call. After a tremendous response from the public in

Mandya

, the team conducted a similar event in Davangere which had hundreds of fans thronging. They were also given the opportunity to take selfies with the lead actors. These episodes are likely to be aired on the television.

The serial, which went on air in February last year, was temporarily stopped for two months due to the lockdown. Since then, Naagaini is one of the most watched serials on

Kannada

television, and completed 200 episodes in December. The show is a remake of the

Hindi

serial

Naagin

and has been changed to suit local nativity. The story revolves around a shape-shifting female serpent Shivani, who takes human form to take revenge against people who killed Nagasheha (J Karthik) to take the possession of Naagmani. The serial directed by

K S Ramji

also has Mohan and Muniraju in pivotal roles.
