The shoot of Premaloka resumed post the death of Siddharaj Kalyankar

Post the

recent passing

of actor Siddharaj Kalyankar, on Monday night, the team members of the

serial Premaloka

have resumed shooting. The actor, who died due to a massive heart attack, was essaying the

role

of a prominent village head in the serial.

Some of the members of the serial, including actress Ankitha Navya Gowda, decided that those who were travelling to the set on Tuesday, would return back after hearing the tragic news of Siddharaj Kalyankar. According to channel sources, the team is currently shooting in Bengaluru.

Actors Vijay Suriya and Ankitha Navya Gowda had mourned the death of Siddharaj Kalyankar, who had made a mark in films, serials and theatre. Incidentally, Siddharaj Kalyankar’s 60th birthday was celebrated on set, on the same day, with a special cake cutting. Siddharaj’s character was earlier played by Hulivana Gangadharaiah, who died earlier this year due to Covid-19.


The team of the serial is searching for another actor to play the character that was essayed by

Siddharaj Kalyanakar

. Until a suitable actor is found, a change will be brought in the script to explain the absence of the character. The serial, which went on air in July 2019, is the remake of the popular Hindi serial Kasauti Zindagi Kay. The project also has Vanishree and Balraj in prominent roles.
