The second season of
Television Cricket League
will be played at a ground in Bengaluru, today and tomorrow.
The teams which are participating in the league are Crazy Killers, Gang Garudas, Ground Hunters, King Kessaris, Sarpaa Strikers and Jatayu Giants. The brand ambassadors of the leagues are Sukrutha,
Supritha Sathyanarayan,
Nisha Ravikrishnan, Anu Shree,
Pallavi Gowda,
Dhanya Deepika
, Rashmi
Prabhakar and Anvith Sagar. The captains are television actors Sharath Padmanabh, Ajay, Arjun Yogesh Raj, Harish Gowda,
Harsha Gowda
,
Vivan Akarsh
, Harsha Babu and Devaiah.
According to a statement issued by the organizers, each team consists of 16 players, and 10 overs will be played per side with a three over power play and five bowlers are allowed to play two overs. Last year, the match was watched live through social media with one lakh views. This year too, organizers will live stream the event. The motto behind conducting the tournament is to build harmony and bring together all the television actors and people who work in the technical department.
Actor Arjun Yogesh Raj had said, “I am excited to play in the tournament. This is my second season with Television Cricket League. Winning or losing is a part of a sport, but we all play with great spirit.”
