The comments of Telugu actor Vijaya Rangaraju against Kannada thespian Vishnuardhan has not gone down well with fans of the late actor. Also irked is television actor Anirrudha, who is the son-in-law of of Vishnuvardhan.
In a video post on Facebook, Aniruddha says, “Vijaya Rangaraju should mind about his language and about whom he is talking. Vishnuvardhan in his career has treated all artistes equally.
I don’t know how he could make such remarks when he is not alive. Vishnuvardhan has fans in
Kerala,
Tamil Nadu and
Andhra Pradesh so I request Telugu industry to take action against him. I will also ask him not to come to
Karnataka as he will face consequences for his remarks made against Sahasa Simha.”
Few days back, Vishnuvardhan Sena Samithi filed a complaint with the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce demanding action against Vijaya Rangaraju, but KFCC has not taken any decision in this regard. Vishnvuardhan passed away in 2009 and the memorial of the actor is being constructed near Halalu village on the outskirts of Mysuru on five acres of land. The foundation stone laying ceremony was held in August.
