Television folks live it up at Shruti Naidu’s Deepavali do

It was a night that saw many artistes from the television industry attend a do that was all about lights, love and laughter. “Everyone who started their career with us, made it to the party. Even though they are all busy in different serials and movies, they always make time to attend festivities at my place. And in keeping with the festive spirit, there were a lot of sweets and Diwali gifts and deepas were exchanged. It’s always challenging for me to design return gifts for the festival as it has to be different for each festival,” smiles Shruti.
Light music by Sparsha and Vasishta made senior artists like Dattanna, as well as Shruti and Sharan’s parents nostalgic. “They all started singing these old melodies,” shares Shruti. There was a round of taash too and at the end of it all, everyone had a delightful time.
