Tanvi Rao fights for justice in her new serial

Television actor Tanvi Rao has signed up for her second serial, called

Radhe Shyama

, which will feature newbie Anup in the lead role. The actress, who was last seen on the small screen in

Aakruthi

, will be seen in the title role as Radhe, in the project helmed by

Shiva Poojena Agrahara

.

Tanvi says, “Radhe is an educated girl who is socially-conscious and straight forward. She stands for justice, no matter what the situation is, and doesn't tolerate corruption. Her life takes a drastic turn, when she marries a guy, who always minds his own business. The subject conveys a message that citizens must help each other to create a welfare society.”

Director Shiva adds, “Serials usually revolve around family drama. In Radhe Shyama, we have tried to tackle social issues like corruption, which is a big menace in our country. The serial also has Ravi Bhat,

Ashwini Gowda and Suchithra

in significant roles.”
