The shoot of the much anticipated soap opera Mathe Manvanthara, which was delayed due to the second lockdown, has begun in Bengaluru. The serial, directed by T N Seetharam, marks his returns to television after one year. He had last directed Magalu Janaki which went off air abruptly.
The serial marks the debut of Medha Vidyabushan on the small screen.

Niranjan Deshpande, Chandan Shankar and Ajith Hande are seen in prominent roles. In an interview with us, Seetharam had said, “The project revolves around the daughter of a home minister and her relationship with a house maid. The female protagonist will also be suffering from rare disease which she believes leads to death, but will overcome the ordeal to achieve something extraordinary in life, which will be revealed in the plot. Through her incident, we will touch upon the relationship between a patient and doctor and medical care. There will also be political, bureaucracy and current system elements which are usually associated in my serials.”
T N Seetharam has directed hit serials serials like Mayamruga, Muktha, Manvanthara, Mutha Muktha and Mahaparva.
