Sujith Gowda plays a rockstar in his upcoming serial Manasella Neene

is extremely busy shuttling from Hyderabad to Bengaluru as he is working for two serials (Kannada and Telugu), but his upcoming serial Manasella Neene is definitely pumping his excitement level as the serial releases on December 7. Chatting with Bangalore Times, Sujith shares, "I am really super excited about this project of mine. We have already shot more than 10 episodes. In the serial I play the role of a

rockstar

who is not willingly into this profession, in fact, it is not my choice and it is my dad's choice and because of this I am an extremely arrogant guy who is not close to anyone but his brother."

So, being the lead protagonist who is stark opposite to Rashmi Prabhakar's character, he continues, "So the serial starts with us hating each other eventually that relationship changes and her son has a lot to do with it." The actor also adds that the serial's second trailer has garnered a lot of praise from fans and followers. "I have had people messaging me and texting me praising the serial's teaser and the posters, and that makes me really happy as this serial has an interesting story line.

The serial also has Aruna Balraj in a significant role and marks the comeback of Rashmi to the small screen. She was last seen in the popular serial Lakshmi Baramma, which got accolades from viewers. Rashmi has acted in serials like Shubha Vivaha, Jeevana Chaitra and Arundhati. The actress is also acting in the Telugu serial Pournami. In an earlier interview with Bangalore Times, about the serial, she had said, “The serial explores the bond between a mother and her child. I play Raaga, the doting mother of Preethu.” On collaborating with producer Shruti Naidu, she says, "She is a huge name in the television industry and it feels great to be a part of one of her projects. She is extremely particular about how the character turns out. It has been great to be cast by her in this project.”
