After a gap of nearly five months, Kannada singing reality show, 'Haadu Karnataka' is all set to entertain the viewers with brand new episodes. Yes, Haadu Karnataka will soon resume shoots and air fresh episodes shortly.
The makers of the show will be following the basic guidelines issued by the government to shoot reality shows.
Haadu Karnataka initially started off with 46 participants in main auditions, and only 16 contestants qualified to be a part of the show as contestants.

The show serves as a platform for aspiring singers. Interestingly, unlike any other singing reality show, Haadu Karnataka encourages non-singers to participate in the show. The contestants need not have to be trained in terms of singing to be a contestant.
Kannada Kogile, Not only served as a platform for the singers but also for Chandana Ananthakrishna, who is seen as a host for the first time in television series. She had earlier been a part of Bigg Boss Kannada season 7 as a celebrity contestant.
The show is judged by Sadhu Kokila, Raghu Dixit, V Harikrishna, Indu Nagaraj, and Varijashree Venugopal.
On the other hand, earlier before lockdown, veteran actor and comedian M. S. Umesh had made a surprise entry into the show and entertained with his signature humour. He swept fans off their feet with his evergreen charm and acting prowess.

When one of the contestants, Shivananda Karaganve performed for the retro song 'Bombeyatavayya' from the movie 'Shruthi Seridaaga', which was played by iconic Kannada actor Dr Rajkumar, there was an immediate request from everyone to recreate the scenario LIVE on stage. Well, the actor, who could not deny the request, decided to enact the same. Recalling the song, Umesh asked Shivananda to croon the song while he tried to lip-sync.
The audience went gaga over the performance of the duo and the judges were all praises for Umesh and Shivananda.
