Shubha Poonja to get married in Mangaluru

Former Bigg Boss contestant and actress Shubha Poonja is planning to get married by this month end or early next year in her home town

. The actress, who was supposed to tie the knot in 2020, pushed to this year due to COVID-19.

In an interview with television news channels, Shubha Poonja had said, “As Sumanth is also from

Udupi

and our close family members live in Mangaluru we wanted to get married in our native and we are planning to have a grand reception in Bengaluru for friends and industry colleagues.”
Shubha Poonja her made her relationship official in June last year. In an interview with

Bangalore Times

, she had said, “I found Sumanth quiet and a little introverted, yet someone who loves to do his bit for society, which connected us. I always wanted a partner from a different field. He understands and likes my work, and has absolutely no objection to me continuing to act.”

On career front, Shubha Poonja has begun shooting for her next Ambuja in which she is playing the role of a tribal girl. The project is helmed by Srini Hanumantharaju. She will also be seen in 3
