Late actor Chiranjeevi Sarja’s last film to hit screens, Shivarjuna, will premiere on television on Sunday at 6:30pm. The film, which also has Akshatha Srinivas and Amrutha Iyengar in

lead roles

, got released on March 13 last year - a week before lockdown was imposed to contain the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic. The film was re-released on October 16 after permission was given for release of films in cinema halls.

Shivarjuna, which has family values and action elements, was written and directed by

Shiva Tejas

who had previously directed Dhairyam. The movie also has Kishore, Tara, Avinash and Kuri Prathap in significant roles. Surag Kokila has composed the music. The cinematography is by H C Venu. The story is about two village heads who are waiting for revenge. Chiranjeevi Sarja is seen in the role of Shiva. The project has many action sequences which will surely entertain audiences.

Chiranjeevi Sarja, who passed away in June, will also be seen in another movie - Ranam - as a cop. The other movies which are getting ready to release are April, Kshatriya and Rajamarthada.
