Shivaji Surathkal gets a Hindi television premiere on May 31

Kannada movie Shivaji Surathkal, which was dubbed in Hindi, will be aired on a Hindi general entertainment channel on May 31 at 8 pm. In Hindi, to strike a chord with viewers, the title has been changed as detective Shivaji. The movie has Ramesh Aravind as

in the lead role and is directed by Akash Srivasta.

The project also has Radhika Narayan, Rekha, Arohi Narayan and Vinay Gowda in significant roles. The crux of the story is that Roshan Ravi, the son of a powerful minister, dies under mysterious circumstances at a resort in Ranagiri. The case is handed over to Shivaji (Ramesh Aravind), an upright police officer. He visits the resort after taking up the murder and even gets vital clues which help solve the case.

The project also has Avinash, Ram Manjjonaath, Raghu Ram anakapa, Surya Vasishta and Somjith Gupta in significant roles. Judah Sandy has composed the music.

As the film received good response from viewers, the team has begun working on the sequel. Director Akash Srivasta had said, “Shivaji Surathkal had taken up 100th case in his career in the first film, so in the sequel he is likely to take up 110 cases.”
