Rashmitha Changappa
have reportedly been summoned to appear for questioning by Internal Security Department officials on Tuesday (September 22) in the ongoing probe regarding the drug scandal.
On the other hand, while Rashmitha confirmed that she had already appeared before ISD for primary interrogation the previous week, Abhishek Das and Geetha will be appearing today (September 22) for investigation at the ISD office in Bangalore.
Meanwhile, speaking to ETimes TV earlier today, Rashmitha Changappa, who had earlier appeared for the investigation said, "It is
the Internal Security Department
(ISD) who called us and not the Central crime Branch (CCB). They called us only for investigation and nothing else. I was there last week. Since we worked for a popular channel, the ISD officials asked if I had come across any of the accused in any parties or events. That's it."
She also mentioned saying, "Apart from this, they only recorded my personal details. This doesn't mean that I'm linked with the ongoing drug scandal."
On the career front, while Abhishek Das and Rashmitha Changappa play a prominent role in daily show Gattimela, Geetha plays the female protagonist in the show 'Bhramagantu'.
