Rashmi Prabhakar rubbishes rumours of her contracting COVID-19

Actress Rashmi Prabhakar who is currently in Hyderabad shooting for her Telugu serial Pournami was shocked to read stories of her contracting COVID-19. "I am extremely shocked to hear about these false rumours of me contracting the virus. It is disturbing how channels without confirming the news with the actors run such stories. We are following the standard safety protocols here," informs the actress.

"All I want to say is, please do not spread any rumours unless and until something has been proved. These are sensitive times and such stories affect us. All I want to say is that they need to crosscheck facts with actors and celebrities before writing about such stories." Giving us an update about the shoot, the actress informs that the shoot has resumed today. Primary and secondary contact persons with the actor were tested and their reports were negative. We come under the third category hence we were not required to get tested. And all of have resumed shoot from today," the actress sums up.
