Ranjani Raghavan’s travel tales

The Putta Gowri star recently made a trip to the Malnad region

Putta Gowri

has made her a household name, so naturally Ranjani Raghavan is always neck-deep in work in a bid to keep the audience hooked to the show and retaining it at the number one spot like it has been for years now. So when she gets time off, Ranjani is on the road to visit places she’s never been to before or revisit old favourites. One such outing recently saw her go to the historic sites of Belur and Halebeedu followed by some cooling off in the hills of Chikmagalur. “And since it was monsoon, our trip was doubly fun. The Malnad region is at its best during this time and waking up in the misty hills is a joy that is unrivalled,” says Ranjani. As for the heritage wonders she visited, Ranjani came away spell bound. “Until now, I had only imagined their splendour as I had read about them in text books. This visit was long due. As expected, I was speechless when I saw them in front of me. Karnataka is truly blessed to have such architectural marvels,” says Ranjani.
