Actress Ranjani Raghavan has received her first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. After receiving the vaccine, Ranjani ppsted a pic on social media and captioned it, “#gotvaccinated #covishield(sic).” Ranjani, who is a popular face on the Kannada small screen, is currently seen in the serial Kannadathi as Bhuvaneshwari.

Other Kannada television stars who have got vaccinated are Srujan Lokesh, Vaishnavi Gowda, Aniruddha Jatkar, Niranjan Deshpande, Akul Balaji, Ravishankar Gowda, Mansi Joshi, Tanisha Kuppanda and Swetha Changappa, among others.

Ranjani, who rose to fame with the serial Puttagowri Maduve, is using the lockdown time to pen stories which she is sharing on her social media pages. After shooting in Hyderabad, the team, which is currently on break, resumed shooting in Karnataka. Ranjani is one of the few actresses who has managed to strike a fine balance between the small screen and silver screen. Ranjani will be seen in upcoming movies Takkar, Avastaanthara and the romantic entertainer Kshamisi Nimma Katheyalli Hanavilla, which sees her sharing screen space with Diganth and Aindrita Ray for the first time. The project is helmed by Vinayak Kodsara.
