Ramesh Bhat bags a pivotal role in Sathya serial

Veteran actor Ramesh Bhat, who was last seen on screen in the

Kannada

Chandria

in 2015, is back on the small screen, with the daily soap opera Sathya. The new show, being directed and produced by Swapna Krishna, is one of the highly rated television shows on Kannada television currently.

Sharing information about Ramesh being part of the show, its lead actor

Sagar Biligowda

shared his excitement about working with the senior actor along with a picture of the two of them on his social media page. “Certain times it's just amazing how life throws you from being a viewer to sharing screen space with actors who I have seen only on screen.(sic),” posted Sagar.
While the makers are yet to reveal details about the character that Ramesh has been roped in to play, the actor is said to have already begun shoot for the same. Previously, Ramesh has been part of over a 100 Kannada films. He had even worked as assistant director for the TV show Malgudi Days, and ventured into direction with the film Parameshi Prema Prasanga which was nominated for

National Awards

in 1983.
