Rakksh resumes shooting for Gattimela after bout of ill-health

After a short break,

Rakksh

has resumed shooting for the

romantic serial Gattimela

, which is one of the top serials in the Kannada television industry. The serial, which is currently on air Monday to Friday, also has Abhishek Das, Nisha Ravikrishnan, Sudha Narasimharaju and Manjunath in lead roles.

Speaking to Bangalore Times

, Rakksh who had taken a 10-day break from work, says, “I was down with constant viral fever for a week, luckily it's not COVID-19. The temperature was over 104 degrees. I have resumed shooting from Friday slowly. From next week, I will start shooting in full swing.” On the silver screen, he was last seen in the movie Naragunda Bandaya, which got released in March. As far as films are concerned, the actor is looking for the right scripts to make a comeback. “I am in discussion with few projects, but nothing is finalised to make it official.”

In Gattimela, Rakksh plays a young rich bussinessman Vedanth Vasishta who hates girls. In fact, he never recruits female employees for his company. His perception changes when he meets Amulya known as Rowdy baby, played by Nisha Ravikrishnan. He eventually falls in love with middle class girl Amulya which doesn’t go down well with his mother,
