Priya Achar expands her horizon, acts in Telugu soap

, currently seen on Kannada television in the popular soap, Gattimela.

Priya will be paired opposite

Rathod

in Anandargam, marking her debut in Telugu television. Priya says, “The show was supposed to take off last year, but due to many changes in the team, the premiere is in December. I am excited as I am on the cusp of beginning a new journey. I play the role of an orphan named Aishwarya who is brought up by a transgender, whom I consider as a mother. She hails from a rich family, but has been deserted by them, so she decides to lead her own life by looking after me. She teaches me to help the needy and lead a happy and contented life.”
Sharing her experience of working in the Telugu industry, Priya says: “People are very cooperative with newcomers. They just love artistes. I had a few problems with my Telugu diction, but they ensured I got it right.”
Priya intends to balance her studies, Kannada and Telugu television. “It is because of Gattimela that I reached this stage of my life. I believe it’s all about time management. I have just completed my BCA. I am also getting admission to an MCA course to pursue higher education,” she signs off.
