Premiere of Hitler Kalyana faces delay due to the Covid situation
New television show, Hitler Kalyana, which was supposed to go on air in April, is facing uncertainties over the date of airing as Karnataka continues to be under lockdown. The show has Dileep Raj and newbie Malaika T Vasupal in important roles and is directed by Thrishool.
According to sources, “The promo and a few episodes of the serial were shot. Due to the current situation, the channel has adopted a wait to take a call on the airing date and timings of the show.
If the government gives permission this month, the makers are keen to shoot the show to have banking episodes before the premiere.”
The show marks Dileep Raj’s comeback to the small after a long break. In an interview with us, Dileep Raj, who is also the producer of the serial, had said, “I play the role of a popular hotelier who becomes rich from being a chef which makes him understand every nuance of the hotel business. He is a taskmaster who wants things to happen according to his wish and never tolerates indiscipline even at home, which creates a stifling atmosphere.” The serial, which is the remake of the Telugu serial Hitler Gari Pellam, also has Nandini, Padmini, Durga, Neha Patil, Abhinaya, Ravi Bhat and Vidya Murthy in significant roles.
