Popular Kannada TV serial Manasaare to be made in Tamil

Kannada soap opera ‘Manasaare’, which went on air on a Kannada entertainment channel, will now be made in Tamil. The show focusses on family bonding and the values of relationships.

According to sources, as the storyline of the serial suits the taste of Tamil audiences as well, it has been decided to remake the serial in the language with minor changes. The plot revolves around the character of Prarthana, who is longing for her father’s love and affection, which is missing since her childhood days. Prarthana’s only wish is to earn her father’s attention. She, however, gets unconditional love from her stepmother and stepsister, who look after her well. What further upsets Prarathana is her father’s love for his elder daughter.
