Pavan Kumar to play the role of a lecturer in newly launched show Puttakkana Makkalu; here's what the actor has to say
Kannada actor Pavan Kumar is back on the small screen again. The actor recently featured in the newly launched daily soap '
Speaking about the same with ETimes TV, the actor said, "To give a gist of my role in the show, I portray the character Murali in Puttakkana Makkalu. He is a bachelor, who was just started his career as a lecturer in a very small village called Devipura. Since it is his first job, he shifts to Devipura and faces some issues to settle down. Eventually, he falls in love with the eldest daughter of Puttakka. This is how the track is right now."
The actor further reveals that he has undergone a makeover to meet the needs of the character
"My makeover credits definitely have to go to our designer Nandini. As I play the role of a lecturer in the show, I have opted to go for the formal outfits. A pair of trousers, shirts tucked in neatly and a proper hairdo which looks very professional. Honestly, I had never tried this look at any time in my life so far. But I am liking this look. I feel I look very decent as Murali," he shares.
Besides his character, Pavan also feels elated to share the screen space with veteran actors in the daily soap.
"Working with senior artists feels very blissful. There is so much to learn from them. A small input from the senior artists will bring in a lot of impact in terms of showcasing yourself on-screen. I am experiencing it now. It brings in a lot of changes in terms of acting. You get to be more expressive," he says.
Having said that, the actor sums up by adding, "Puttakkana Makkalu is a very happy set to be in. It entire cast and the crew members are very overwhelming on the sets of Puttakkana Makkalu. We have a lot of fun while all of us are shooting. Although it has been only a while since we started to shoot, all of us share a great rapport with one another."
