World Blood Cancer Day

actress Meghashree
has joined the world in spreading awareness about blood cancer.
Sharing a picture on her social media handle, Megha took the opportunity to talk about the disease and urged everyone to donate blood.
In the post, she stated, "Did you know that in India, every 5 minutes someone is diagnosed with Blood cancer or a blood disorder? You & me & all of us can fight this together.
This World Blood Cancer Day, show your solidarity for people with blood cancer by registering with DKMS-BMST." (sic)
On the work front, she was last seen in the
popular daily soap Padmavati
, which went off-air a few months ago. She portrayed the character of
Sadhana, the elder sister of the male protagonist.
Despite playing a supporting role, the actress is popular for her charm and acting skills. Besides, Megha has also appeared in a few movies in supporting roles.
Notably, she has changed her name from
Varshitha Verma
to Meghashree of late.
