No show for ETV’s Akka?

Two new shows were set to replace the recently conclude reality show – Indian – on ETV from December 2. Agni Sakshi and Akka were to be screened between 8 pm and 9 pm. However, the programmers are now in a fix as one of the tele serials has received a stay order that prevents it from being aired.
Rekha Rani, writer and wife of cinematographer-director Ashok Kashyap had raised objections on the serial Akka as she found the contents very similar to her own script Kanmani which she had penned years ago.
Incidentally, both the Akka and Kanmani have twins as the main protagonists.
Based on her complaint the city civil court has stayed the telecast of Akka until further notice. No show for ETV’s Akka?
