Kannada actor-host Niranjan Deshpande informed fans that his Instagram handle, which was hacked a few days go, has been retrieved. The actor shared the news on his official Instagram handle and wrote, "My account got retrieved, Now everyone can stay connected with me here. Thanks a lot for all your love and support." (sic)
Having written that, Niranjan also shared a video and thanked everyone for checking on him constantly. He mentioned that he is overwhelmed by the love he received during the tough times when his official Instagram handle was hacked.
To the unversed, a few days ago, Niranjan Deshpande alerted his fans about his Instagram handle being hacked. "My account is hacked so plz don't reply to any messages until I make another video. I am going to give a complaint to cyber crime tomorrow till then keep supporting me," wrote the actor as he alerted his fans on social media.
Since then, the actor stayed away from his Instagram handle and maintained a low profile.
Meanwhile, the number of cases of celebs being targetted by cyberbullies is reportedly increasing. Kiran Raj, Mansi Joshi, Raghu Gowda, Shaurya, Kavya Gowda, Mansi Joshi, Mithun Tejasvi, and others had earlier been a victim of an online imposter.
