A general entertainment channel started the event amid thousands of people who were gathered to celebrate Lakshadeepotsava in Yediyuru during Karthika Maasa. The entire temple was illuminated. The devotees watched the promo of the show on a screen. Several tableau vehicles with photos of Siddhalingeswhara are travelling across Karnataka, giving an opportunity for devotees to take blessings and sacred vibhuti from Yediyuru Sri Siddalingeshwara temple.
