Nandini goes off air
Supernatural television series Nandini will soon end its journey on the Kannada small screen. The serial, which has Vinay Gowda and Chaya Singh in lead roles and was simultaneously made in Tamil, will go off air.
Some of the prominent characters in the serial are Chaya Singh as Nandini, Vinay Gowda as Virat,
The serial, which premiered in 2017, initially managed to garner the attention of viewers. But as the show progressed, it failed to captivate them. The serial marked the return of actress Chaya Singh to the small screen. She replaced Nithya Ram as Nandini in the serial. The actress, who had worked in Telugu, Tamil and Bengali, had said that language is not a barrier to her as she always likes to push boundaries. It is only the character which is important to her more than languages.
Some of the serials that have gone off air since the lockdown was imposed, were Subbalakshmi Samsara, Magalu Janaki, Bayasade Balli Bande, Arthigobba Keerthigobba, Ivalu Sujatha, Radha Kalayana, among others. These serials are replaced by dubbed shows like Mahabaratha, Radha Krishna and Magludi Days.
