Determined to help Ahalya complete the ritual, Meera convinces Ahalya's neighbors to participate. However, Meera's plan goes awry as the neighbors grow furious and accuse her of dishonoring them.

Shankarmurthy plays a spoilt sport in spreading ill words about Meera. Needless to say, the neighbors fall prey to Shankarmurthy and strike back at Meera.

Unable to tolerate the false acquisitions, Meera lashes out at Shankarmurthy for spoiling the festive vibes. She flairs out at him and asks him to mind his own business.

In a shocking turn of events, Ahalya tries to stop Meera. But the latter does not listen to her. Instead, she tries to expose the true color of Shankarmurthy.
