Shani is likely to go off-air during the first week of April. A new daily soap 'Ranganayaki' is all set to go on-air at the same time slot.
While close sources confirm the conclusion of the Shani, an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited.
The serial is based on the life of
Shani
who is known as the 'Karmaphala Daata' (The divine judge of deeds). It is also believed that Shani is known as one among the nine Graha's (Planet) in the Indian mythology and Vishnu and Shiva act as mentors for Shani.
As per the latest updates, the series will conclude by showcasing Shani's influence in the future.
Shani has garnered the interest of viewers with powerful narration and visual graphics. It is one of the shows which consistently score well on the TRP charts.
Sunil Kumar played the younger avatar of Shani while actor Pranav Sridhar is now seen playing adult version. Some of the star cast of the series include Nikhila Suman, Shwetha Khelge, Brinda Acharya, Arjun Ramesh and Sujay Hegde.
