In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Kannada 10, Vinay Gowda couldn't hold back his emotions as he expressed deep regret for not being there for his father during challenging times.However, it's essential to note that in one of the previous interview with ETimes TV, Vinay Gowda had already opened up about his complex relationship with his father and how becoming a father himself reshaped his perspective."I did not have much of an attachment with my father since childhood. We had many differences between us, but now, watching my son grow in front of me makes me realize how precious it is to have an attachment with your child," Vinay shared.Recognizing his past mistakes, Vinay Gowda has made a deliberate effort not to repeat them with his own son. He stressed, "I try to be as close as possible to my son and ensure that he enjoys his life to the fullest."
Despite achieving immense success portraying diverse on-screen characters, Vinay Gowda remains grounded in the values instilled in him by his father.
He reminisced, "My father used to teach me a lot of Panchatantra stories with morals in them. He related these stories to our lives and recited them. Back then, I might not have understood their significance, but now, at every stage of my career, I realize how true his words were."Vinay Gowda fondly recalled a cherished memory from his childhood, saying, "My father used to get me a particular juice and a cream bun while picking me up from school.
I follow the same routine with my son, making sure to get snacks or juice for him when I pick him up from school."
Reflecting on a pivotal moment in his life
, Vinay shared, "I was 21 years old when I had a quarrel with my father and decided to leave home. I lost touch with my family and went to Mumbai to start my career in television." However, he proudly revealed that his father expressed immense pride when he saw him as a contestant in the Super Jodi reality show.
Unfortunately, the actor's reunion with his father was short-lived, as he lost his father a few years ago.
Emotionally recounting the final moments, Vinay Gowda said, "It was during his last stages that he mentioned wanting to see me. Sadly, my father breathed his last before I could reach the hospital. I regret not being able to catch that last glimpse of my father and apologize to him."Vinay emphasized that he carries forward the moral values instilled by his father into his life, stating, "I can clearly say that it has given me tremendous personal growth."
Just like any father, Vinay Gowda is a hero in his own right for his son.
He shared, "My son is very proud of me. He enthusiastically replicates my on-screen characters, and we create lip sync videos together. He is in the process of exploring his passion for acting."
With a busy schedule, Vinay is committed to spending quality time with his son during his off-hours and supports him in pursuing his dreams.
"Whether it's in culture, sports, or education, I've given my son the freedom to choose his interests. In fact, he's a skating champion and represents his school as well," shared the actor, embodying the role of a supportive and loving father.
