Television show Edhe Thumbi Haduvenu pays tribute to legendary playback singer S P Balasubrahmanyam, who passed away last year. The episodes will be aired today and tomorrow from 7:30 pm. S P Balasubrahmanyam's children Shailaja and S P Charan have also graced the

The entire event was themed around Kannada songs crooned by S P Balasubrahmanyam. According to the channel, “A souvenir signed by renowned celebrities of Sandalwood industry was presented to S P Charan on the occasion.” On the show, Crazy star V Ravichandran and Hamsalekha recall their golden days. Hamsalekha will compose a song on stage which is a testimony to his wealth of talent. As a part of the musical tribute to Balasubramanyam, son S P Charan and daughter S P Shailaja will also sing popular songs croond by SPB. Music director and comedian Sadhu Kokila sings a new song appealing to God for the rebirth of SPB in Karnataka.

The gala event was attended by actors like, Rajesh, Srinath, Ravichandran, Doddanna, Anu Prabhakar, Girija Lokesh, Nenapirali Prem, Rockline Venkatesh, Vijay Raghavendra, Sharan, and others. Singers M D Pallavi, Vyasraj, Chinmay, Athreya and Chethan have performed. The musical extravaganza is hosted by Srujan Lokesh.
