Mandya Ramesh plays a cameo in Kavyanjali

Theatre personality and actor Mandya Ramesh, popularly known as

Muddesha

, in the comedy show

Majaa Talkies

, has played the role of an aged man who lives in a village in the serial Kavyanjali, which is completely contrasting to what viewers have seen him in Majaa Talkies.

Mandya Ramesh says, “Though it’s a cameo, my character unravels the mystery of protagonist Sushath’s (

Pavan Ravindra

) past life. People have seen my funny side so when the director Adarsh Hegde narrated the role which I have not done previously on the small screen, I agreed to be part of it, even viewers are thoroughly enjoying it which is an ultimate satisfaction. Being in theatre and films for all these years, I have expressed my disappointments on various platforms for not getting the right kind of characters to show my acting prowess. The roles like these are some sort of consolation for me personally.”

Ramesh who continues to act in films has Gramanthara, Praveena, Girki, Jersey 10 in the pipeline. “Most of my roles revolve around the comedy element, I have tried to bring my own style to it,” he states.
