, who is seen playing the lead character of Arun in the show Manasella Neene, has tested positive for
COVID-19
. The actor is isolated at home and is undergoing medication for the same.
Sujith took to his social media handle to confirm the same.
The actor on his Instagram handle wrote, "This is to inform you all that I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have isolated myself and taking required precautionary measures. ho so ever were in contact with me, please get yourself tested. Trust me the suffering is too bad, I urge all my loved ones to wear a mask and sanitise hands, and do not go out. Stay home and stay safe (sic)"
The news of
Sujith Gowda testing positive for COVID-19 has left industry peers and fans worried about her health. They have wished for the actor's speedy recovery.
Besides Sujith,
Prathama Prasad
and
Rashmi Prabhakar from the same show were also tested positive for Covid-19 recently. While Rashmi tested negative of late, Prathama is still yet to recover. The team has suspended the shoot for the upcoming episodes as a part of the safety measures.
On the other hand, Swetha Chengappa, Remo, Nayana Nagaraj, and Shalini Satyanarayan had also tested positive for Covid-19. These celebs have opted for home quarantine and are currently undergoing treatment for the same.
