Majaa Talkies Chandraprabha turns director with Aangikom

Mysuru boy Chandraprabha G, who plays the role of Pakkada Mane Poornachandra, on the popular comedy show

Majaa Talkies

, is all set to make his Sandalwood debut as a director, with the movie Aangikom. The film is about

endosulfan

victims, and Chandraprabha spend quite a bit of time in Kukkada village to study endosulfan victims.

Speaking to us, Chandraprabha, says, “My film will highlight how the people in the surrounding village of Dakshina Kananda got affected from endosulfan

insecticide

, and the ordeal of the victims, especially kids, who are having physical deformities. It will also lok into what needs to be done for the welfare of endosulfan victims.”

As far casting is concerned, Chandraprabha has decided to cast real victims and participants of

Majaa

Bharatha and Comedy Talkies. The film will go on floors next month.
