The film which is based on the novel Kiragoorina Gayaaligalu, penned by Poornachandra Tejaswi, depicts the rural life of women and how they save their family as well as village from liquor mafia. The project was extensively shot in the villages of Ramanagara, Mysuru and Kanakapura.
