Kannada actor Pavan Kumar's career seems to be in the right direction. After winning the hearts of the viewers with his on-screen character 'Murali' in the daily soap Puttakkana Makkalu, Pavan is now set to make his silver screen debut as the lead actor in an upcoming Kannada film.
Speaking about the same with ETimes TV, Pavan said, "Something new is coming up. My excitement has no limits now.
We are just in the beginning stage of the movie. We had the Muhurta of our movie recently and it turned out to be a successful one. I am in a happy space now and looking forward to begin work for the movie."
Interestingly, Pavan will yet again be sharing the screen space with actress Bhoomi Shetty, whom he had earlier essayed the role of her on-screen husband in the daily soap Kinnari.
"What's special about this project is that I will yet again be seen opposite Bhoomi Shetty. She has been roped in by the makers to essay the female protagonist in the movie. Considering our acting career, this will be the second time we will be sharing the screen space together. Viewers liked our on-screen chemistry in Kinnari and I hope we get the same response here as well," shares Pavan.
He added, "I and Bhoomi Shetty are great buddies in real life too. We often catch up during our leisure time with other friends of ours and spend time. Now, we get to even shoot together after a long time. It is nearly after three-four years, we will be sharing the screen space again. At the same time, our friendship too has grown stronger."
With a new project ready to roll, Pavan avers that he is keen on balancing his shoot life.

"The shoot for the debut movie is yet to go hit the floor. It will take time. Meanwhile, I am enjoying my stint as Murali in Puttakkana Makkalu and I am sure I will balance my silver screen shoots and the serial shoot with ease. Being Murali of Puttakkana Makkalu has given me new fame and I am just liking it," avers the actor
He continued by saying, "Everything seems to be falling in place. I am concentrating on my career. My family members are happy that I have bagged a Kannada movie as the hero. In fact, it was a very surprising moment for my parents when they arrived at the Muhurta of the movie as I had not revealed anything to them. My sister had just bought them to the venue saying they were here only to visit the temple. But, when they entered and learned about my next project, they were very elated and blessed me."
Pavan further signed out by adding, "Besides everything, I have a couple of friends who are supportive. I am keeping myself busy with work and everything is just going with the flow. I am enjoying this phase and will continue to entertain the viewers with my works in the industry."
