Kannada TV serial Gattimela completes 350 episodes

Popular Kannada serial Gattimela has recently crossed the 350-episode mark, while the television show continues to claim the top TRP slot, making it one of the most-viewed serials on Kannada television. The lead cast of the serial, which is directed by Anil, includes actors Raksh, Nisha Ravikrishnan, Sudha Narasimharaju, Abhishek Das, Priya Achar and Ashwini among others.
The serial, which is now combined with the Jothe Jotheyali soap opera for one week in the special episode called Mahasangama, has already garnered a lot of attention from the audiences. In Monday’s episode, Independence Day celebrations were carried out at Aryavardhan’s office.
Sharing his thoughts on the Mahasangama episodes, Raksh recently posted on his social media page, saying: “When Vedanth and Vardhan meet each other ! The rest is ..Happy weekend guys ! Lots of love to you guys for all that enormous love Indeed blessed and overwhelmed (sic).”
In the run up to Ganesh Chaturthi, special episodes are being aired. From next Monday again, Gattimela and Jothe Jotheyali will be aired separately. In the upcoming episodes, Ganesha festival will be celebrated by the actors of both the serials, which will be a treat for the audiences.
Gattiemela, which went on air in March 2019, is the remake of the Tamil serial, Poove Poochudava. The narrative follows the life of two characters – Parimala Manjunath and Sushma Vasishta. While Paramala belongs to a lower middle-class family, Suhma hails from a rich background. The story takes a drastic turn when Sushma’s son falls in love with Parimala’s daughter.
