Kannada TV actress Aarthi Padubidri slams trolls over her fashion statement
Popular Kannada television actress Aarthi Padubidri has hit back at trolls who constantly target her dressing style on social media. Known for her bold fashion choices and glamorous online presence, the actress recently shared a strong message for those criticising her outfits.
Taking to social media, Aarthi posted a bold video with the caption, “WHEN PEOPLE COMMENT ON MY OUTFITS.” Along with the video, she used a famous dialogue of Kannada star Upendra that translates to: “I will wear the clothes I like, I will live the way I want. Who are you to question me? Deep inside, even you wish to dress this way, but you live for society while I live for myself.” Through the dialogue, the actress gave a befitting reply to people judging her appearance and fashion choices.
Aarthi Padubidri, who is a physiotherapist by profession, has always been passionate about acting since childhood. Alongside her medical career, she also pursued modelling and waited for opportunities in the entertainment industry. She made her television debut in the Colors Kannada serial Hoomale, where she played the hero’s sister and impressed viewers with her performance. The actress later participated in a dance reality show and gained further recognition through Zee Kannada’s popular serial Gattimela, where she portrayed the role of the elder sister Aarthi. Both characters showcased her in simple and traditional roles.
Currently, Aarthi is seen in the serial Brahmagantu, where she plays Sanjana — a modern, arrogant and initially negative-shaded character who believes money can buy anything. The role has now evolved into a more positive character. Just like her on-screen appearance, Aarthi is equally bold and confident in real life too.
Apart from acting, the actress remains highly active on social media, often sharing pictures and videos from her travels, parties and tournaments. While she receives appreciation from fans, her bold outfits also attract criticism and negative comments online. However, with her latest post, Aarthi has made it clear that she chooses to live life on her own terms rather than seeking society’s approval.
