Kannada television set to get new horror show

There is a new addition to Kannada TV, as an entertainment channel is all set to air a new horror show, titled Aakruthi, from August 24 at 9.30 pm to entertain its viewers. The

serial

has actors Tanvi Rao, has acted in movies like Rangbirangi, and Pawan in

lead roles

. This channel had recently launched another new serial, titled Kavyanjali.

The new horror show revolves around the character of Divya, a young dancer who balances her education with her passion for the arts. Divya lives with her parents, Prajwal and Chaitra, and her brother, Sujay. She had been living quite happily with her family, until things took a drastic turn in their life, as they started going through some strange experiences. All their family happiness faded away after an unexpected incident took place, in relation to Divya and her ancestors. This made an impact on their current lives. Later, Divya, who is a courageous girl, finds out the secret behind the mystery, and tries to protect her family members.

According to the channel, there are

to watch the exciting series, which includes the way in which the series is crafted as well as its rich content. The serial endorses a style of screenplay, which, according to them, has never been tried before in Kannada television, and it is expected to enthral the audiences.

The story and screenplay of Aakruthi is written by Siddharth, for the new TV series. And, the direction and cinematography by M Kumar. Mrugashira Shrikanth has penned the dialogues, while Sandalwood music director Gurukiran has composed music for the title track, which is written by lyricist Kaviraj. The serial also has actors Netravati Jadhav, Bobby, Prakyat and Tanuja in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, Sridhar and Usha Bhandari appear as special characters. The serial is produced by director KM Chaitanya and P Harridoss. KM Chaitanya has helmed many projects like Aa Dinagalu, Aatagara, Aake and Amma I Love You.
