Kannada movie Deredevil Mustafa set for its world television premiere
After Kranti, Kabzaa, Raghavendra stores, and many other latest Kannada movies, now, yet another film is set for its world television premiere. Kannada movie Daredevil Mustafa, is all set for a world television premiere soon.
The movie will air on a general Kannada entertainment channel that has daily soaps like Namma Lacchi, Neenadhena, Katheyondu Shuruaagide, Udho Udho Shri Renuka Yellamma, and many others.

Plot: The government PU college in Abachuru, a communally sensitive village, has an uninvited guest: Jamal Abdul Musthafa. Ahead of his arrival, rumours start flying around about his past and present among the college students. When Musthafa finally arrives, all hell breaks loose.
About the movie
Daredevil Musthafa is the adaptation of poet K P Poornachandra Tejaswi’s short story by the same name. Tejaswi had once said that books need to be adapted into films so that they can reach more people. The director, Shashank Sohgal, has sincerely followed this, and the result is the best literary adaptation of the book. The story reiterates the message: "He who lives in harmony with himself lives in harmony with the universe. The book is at least five decades old, and yet the message it delivers about living together in harmony and peace is relevant even today, especially today. It preaches the unity beyond religious differences mantra, and this has translated very well on screen.

The movie transports one to Abachuru and keeps you hooked to the screen till the last minute. The screenplay, direction, and actors are the real heroes here, for they make the film as entertaining as the book itself. Despite having a periodic setting, the underlying story remains very relevant. Shooting the film in a rustic location instead of on a set that imitates a certain era, has worked very well for the film.
The cast
The ensemble cast includes several newbies, like the lead characters Aditya and Shashidhar, along with a few established actors such as Mandya Ramesh, Nagbhushan, and Poornachandra Mysore, among others.
