Kannada-dubbed show 'Besuge' to go off-air soon

Kannada television is witnessing quite a few dubbed shows in recent times. While some dubbed shows like Krishna Tulasi, Trinayani are gaining popularity, some are set to go off-air.

According to sources, Kannada dubbed Besuge, will soon be going off-air owing to low TRPs.

Besuge

is the Kannada dubbed version of the

Telugu

show 'Intiki Deepam Illalu'. In fact, Besuge is likely to be the first dubbed show to go off air in recent times. A leading Kannada general entertainment channel is airing the show in the noon slot.

Interestingly, Besuge has Kannada actors Deepika and

Shivakumar Marihal

in the lead roles. She is seen in a traditional avatar in the show which also marks her

Telugu TV

debut.

Besuge is based on an interesting story that revolves around Krishna Manohar and Krishnapriya who get married under unexpected circumstances. Krishna Manohar is an angry and arrogant man who doesn’t like his wife. But, Krishnapriya, on the other hand, is a soft-hearted woman who is an adopted child and tries to find love. How the duo will lead their life post their wedding forms the crux of the story.

While actor Shiva Kumar Marihal portrays the character of Krishna Manohar, Deepika essays the female lead role of Krishnapriya.
