Kannada daily soap Sevanthi completes 750 episodes

Kannada daily soap 'Sevathi', which premiered in February 2019, has already completed 750 episodes. The television show has become quite popular among the viewers.

The storyline revolves around an orphan girl, who wants to have a loving family but destiny has its own plans. Though the TV serial is said to be the remake of the popular Tamil daily soap 'Roja', it has created a lot of buzz among the audience for its interesting storytelling and strong cast.

The serial marked the comeback of veteran actor Bharathi Vishnuvardhan. But then she was replaced by Ashalatha.

On the other hand, while the show featured Pallavi Gowda as the lead actress during the premiere, she left the show mid-way to concentrate on her film career. She was replaced by actress Meghna Kushi and eventually by Deepika.

Currently, Deepika plays the titular role in Sevanthi. The show also has Shishir Shastry in the lead. The actor plays the role of an advocate.

The serial also stars Manjunath Bhat, Hamsa, Mico Shivu, Krishna Adiga, and Sangeetha in supporting roles while Vinod is directing the show.
