K M Chaitanya to produce horror television series

Director K M Chaitanya, who last produced the

soap

opera Preethi Yendarenu, is producing a new horror television series directed by

Honnesh

. Previously,

Chaitanya

had produced serials like Ondanondu Kaaladalli, Mugilu and Kicchu before concentrating on films.

According to channel sources, "The story is set against the backdrop of Malnad. In fact, the team had hot few episodes. But after the lockdown was imposed, the shooting was stopped. The content of the serial made Chaitanya to prooducer the serial. The shooting will be resumed once the lockdown is lifted." In Sandalwood, Chaitanya had last directed the movie Aadyaa.
